Choose Democracy

From 2021 through the present, I have created visual assets for Choose Democracy, a nonprofit that empowers citizens to protect American democracy. These assets have included over 400 illustrations in an interactive “pick your path adventure”, animations for the organization’s YouTube channel, and hero illustrations for the organizational website.

Animated Videos

These animated videos help break down complex topics like democracy, civic engagement, and resisting authoritarianism through accessible artwork. I worked with the organization’s director Daniel Hunter to create Choose Democracy’s most popular video, “The 4 Paths to Resist Trump”, which has earned over 26K views on YouTube.

Pick-Your-Path Illustrations

I also illustrated an ambitious choose-your-own-adventure project featuring over 400 cohesive drawomgs that guided readers through scenarios of civic action and resistance. This interactive storytelling tool was developed for both digital platforms and print, requiring careful attention to narrative flow and visual consistency across hundreds of decision points.
